Signing PDF files is more efficient than signing an email with an unsigned PDF document.

If you have your own electronic signature available, signing a PDF document is very easy. You can sign issued invoices, contracts and other documents that you can send by e-mail, save to disk, and they will thus always contain an electronic signature.

Attachment to this section, you may find (Slovak) instructions for signing a PDF document/file using the free Acrobat Reader DC program for Windows or MAC, which is a standard for viewing and printing PDF files.

This guide assumes that you already have Acrobat Reader DC installed, you have an electronic signature available for signing, and that you have appropriate drivers installed on your computer. If you use an identity card (ID) to sign, you need to have the eID application from the slovensko.sk portal installed. Before signing, the reader with OP must be connected to the computer.
