The VPN serves to access university and faculty systems that are not available outside the STUNET network. If you no longer need access to these systems, LOG OUT.
STUDENTS: Do not use the university VPN to access the e-timetable. Only in emergency cases. This VPN has a limited number of connections.

Important information:
- The login name is in the form login, not login@stuba.sk. The password is the same as for WiFi Eduroam.
- You can find login information on the page here: https://is.stuba.sk/auth/wifi/heslo_vpn_sit.pl?_m=3532
- WARNING! If you have your password regenerated, you will be able to log in with new data in up to 2 hours!
2/ The university VPN is built on several protocols.
We recommend using OpenVPN when using this service. All available protocols can be used to access STU systems. Access to only some FCHPT systems is allowed via OpenVPN. For access to systems operated at institutes and departments of the faculty, it may not be available at all via the university VPN.
To log in to VPN STU, the login name is the same as for WiFi from login and "@stuba.sk".
Important: Do not use the same credentials on two devices at the same time, the connection will not work properly and may be interrupted.
Note: Information and instructions for STU VPN configuration can be found on the university website.
