How do I install a VPN over SSL (OpenVPN)?

Downloading and Installing VPN

Installation procedure by operating system

Windows:

  1. Download and install the OpenVPN application from the following link.

  2. Download the configuration file FCHPT_VPN_SSL.ovpn from the faculty repository. (AIS login is required to download the file.)

  3. Manually import the downloaded configuration file into the application (instructions are available in the app).

  4. Log in using the same credentials as for AIS (login, not email).

  5. Save the settings and connect.

MacOS:

  1. Download and install the OpenVPN application from the following link.
